‘Bang Bang’ singer Jessie J has suffered a miscarriage

Jessie J has shared news that she has experienced a miscarriage.

The “Bang Bang” singer, 28, released a statement explaining she had to cancel a series of tour dates.

“I wanted to share the news with you all a while ago but thought it was better to keep it private because I didn’t want any stories about celebrities going wrong to steal all the headlines,” she said.

She was sharing the news after being trolled about an alleged miscarriage online.

“I suffered a miscarriage for a few months over Christmas and I was quite quiet about it, but it has been hard to come to terms with and speak about. So I thought it would be best just to be open and honest, so I hope that being here right now talking about it will be therapeutic for me,” she added.

“It was really sad when I did go through it, I didn’t expect it and I didn’t have time to process it all but now that I am kind of back in the swing of things I am being very open and sharing my story.”

Jessie J, real name Jessica Cornish, first became famous as one half of the British pop group The Saturdays, who shot to fame during the era of “girl power.”

Her debut album “Who You Are” and its smash hit single “Price Tag” have sold more than seven million copies worldwide.
