“YassifyBot” is a bot by Yassify, a company with headquarters in Moscow. With the bot, you can make silly videos like this parody of the creepy Adele ad that has gone viral.
To learn how to make your own YassifyBot, and how to share the video you made with your followers, we asked Marina, one of our writers and Yassify’s Community Manager.
How did you get the idea for the YassifyBot?
Our Russian Editor at Large, Daria Kolesnikova, created the voice of the bot in the eMeet-tech show. She came up with the idea of a robot with an artificial intelligence that makes sexy videos for you. From there, the project began.
What makes the YassifyBot funny?
It’s hilarious to see a robot having fun. Everybody loves robots! But here’s the problem: at the moment, the robot can’t make any human realtions. People can’t see its eyes, hear its voice, and even if it moves it’s not even like your average AI. It only makes silly porn and a lot of LOL-y videos. Our goal of the YassifyBot is to help real-life people get in touch with the robot and have a real conversation.
Who is Yassify?
Our founder Anna, or actually her assistant David, created the name and the bot. Yassify is an AI from Artificial Intelligence Deep Blue that can learn and make jokes. The technology behind the AI was put into a 32k project and released to the public in November 2016. Our technical team is made up of 20-30 developers. We collaborated with Russian AI experts to develop our product. We also have an advanced artificial intelligence R&D team.
What is the plan for the future of Yassify?
We have a plan for the future of Yassify. The main goal is to make Yassify a practical form of interaction with the AI and to provide an AI that can understand human speech, faces, and emotions.
What’s the purpose of the videos you share with your followers?
I personally want to share some funny videos that we think our readers like. I don’t think people are interested in YassifyBot making sexy videos and sharing them on social media. We have other plans for the future.
